We live in a small world—more connected than ever before. Technology, travel, and global communication link us to people across continents in seconds. We hear their stories, feel their pain, and share in their joys. And yet, even with all this connection, suffering remains a universal reality. Illness, loss, fear, and uncertainty touch every human heart. No culture, no nation, no family is untouched.
Lent reminds us that we need a Savior, not in theory, but in the very real places where life hurts.
Jesus steps into our suffering.
He does not stand far off.
He does not remain distant or detached.
He enters the world’s pain—our pain—with compassion and purpose.
The prophet Isaiah calls Him
