Dear Steven & Kathleen,
When Jesus walked the earth, He did more than preach kindness—He launched a compassion revolution that changed the very fabric of humanity. His ministry overturned assumptions about who matters, who belongs, and who is worthy of love. He touched those others avoided, welcomed those others excluded, and restored those others dismissed. His compassion was not passive; it was transformative.
The apostle Paul captures the heart of this revolution in Galatians 3:28:
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
This is not just a theological statement—it is a declaration of a new world. In Christ, the old divisions lose their power. The walls we build between one another begin to crumble. Compassion becomes the new way of being human.
