Last week, as you may recall, we reflected on how pain shapes our character and deepens our faith. Today, let’s take the next step: how pain can also propel us into purpose.
When we walk through seasons of hardship, we often discover a new compassion for others who are hurting. In fact, our wounds can become the very places where God equips us to serve. As Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 1:3–4:
“The God of all comfort…comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction.”
